About the Role

• Promote and sell Alibaba.com’s GGS (Gold Supplier) memberships to exporters, manufacturers, and SMEs.
• Identify and qualify potential leads through field visits, tele-calling, references, and online research.
• Deliver compelling product presentations to decision-makers, explaining the benefits of Alibaba’s platform for international business.
• Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate membership plans.
• Achieve individual monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain detailed records of leads, prospects, and follow-ups using CRM tools.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth onboarding and post-sales support.
• Attend training sessions and stay updated on Alibaba platform features and global trade trends.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients for renewals and referrals.
• Submit daily activity reports and participate in regular sales meetings and reviews.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Business, Marketing, or International Trade).

  • Experience:

    • 1–3 years of experience in direct sales, B2B sales, or solution selling.

    • Freshers with strong communication and interest in sales may also be considered.

  • Sales Skills:

    • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.

    • Ability to confidently engage with business owners and decision-makers.

  • Communication:

    • Good command of English and local language (spoken and written).

    • Clear, confident presentation skills.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Excel, email, and CRM tools.

  • Attributes:

    • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and quick learner.

    • Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and field visits.

  • Preferred:

    • Prior exposure to exports, international trade platforms, or digital sales will be an added advantage.
